About
Neighbors, in the same room
A screen can play the steps. It cannot pass you the bowl, or walk the trail beside you. Whatchaknow is people teaching people. We open city by city, and the Treasure Valley is live.

The person, not the machine
Most days, a new skill shows up as a video. Here it shows up as a person who lives nearby. They share what they know. You spend a few hours doing it with them.
You ask the question a clip never answers. You leave knowing how it feels in your hands.
How a class works
The group stays small, so there is time for each person. A host teaches one thing a beginner can learn in a few hours: one date, or a series over several weeks. The neighborhood is public. The street address comes after you book.
Trust
The host is named on the class. The neighborhood is public. The street address comes after you book. We read each listing, and it needs five photos, before neighbors can book.
City by city
Whatchaknow is for the whole country: a person teaching a person, in their own city. We open one city at a time. Live now in the greater Treasure Valley: Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle, Garden City, and Caldwell.
How the money works
Listing a class is free. Whatchaknow keeps 20% of each booking. Founding hosts pay 15% for their first six months, then the regular 20%.
